The Maryknoll Convent School Foundation

The Foundation is  the School's sponsoring body, responsible for the supervision of the operation and administration of both the Primary and Secondary sections of the School. The Foundation was set up as a company limited by guarantee and is a non-profit charitable organization. . . The Sisters were the founding subscribers. .. The Foundation welcomes wide participation and representation from alumni, teachers and parents. .

The Council is the governing body of the Foundation and consists of 15 members who have been elected by the Executive Members or appointed by the Council. The founding members of the Council were appointed by the Maryknoll Sisters.

Maryknollers who may wish to have a closer involvement with the School are strongly encouraged to become a member of the Foundation, stand for election as an Executive Member or join working committees set up by the Council.

Maryknoll Convent School Educational Trust

The Maryknoll Convent School Educational Trust was set up in 1992. The purpose of the Trust is fund-raising in order to meet the needs arising from the operation of the School. In addition, donations to the Foundation are always welcome to help meet such operational expenses.

Our Work Ahead

To achieve our Vision and Mission, the Foundation will work together with our dedicated team of professional staff, the School Management Committee, the MCS Educational Trust, the Former Students' Association (FSA) and the Parent Teacher Associations. Together we aim to continue our strive for excellence, uphold our Vision and Mission and keep the Maryknoll spirit alive. We welcome with open arms your active participation in helping us  meet  this challenge.

- To promote fellowship among former students of Maryknoll Convent School

- To foster and support realisation of Catholic ideals in every sphere of life;

- To promote mutual welfare of and provide recreational, social and cultural activities and pastimes for the members;

- To sponsor charitable activities;

- To do all such other lawful acts as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the above objectives including
without limitation the raising of the necessary funds.
Members - Ordinary Membership is open to Maryknoll Sisters, all former teachers and former students who have completed at least one year of study at Maryknoll. They shall have the right to attend and speak at the General Meetings of the Foundation and to vote at such meetings.

- Associate Membership is open to parents of former or present students and to the spouse of
Ordinary Members. They shall have the right to attend the General Meetings but may not vote
at such meetings.

- Life Member: One-time Membership Fee of HK$1,000

- Ordinary Member : Annual Membership Fee of HK$200 per year

- Student Member: Annual Membership Fee of HK$40 per year (Applicable to full-time students only)

- Honorary Members: any person who in the opinion of the Executive committee of the Association has made invaluable contribution to the School or the cause of the Association
Governance - Members wishing to be more closely involved with the School can stand for election as Executive Members or join the working committees to be set up by the Council.

- The Council, at the helm of the Foundation, consists of 15 members to be elected by the Executive Members or appointed by the Council. The founding Council is appointed by the Maryknoll Sisters.
  - Organized world wide reunion and anniversaries, in addition to regular gatherings
